OPCO funding
for Biodiversity Partner training

Biodiversity Partner training courses are provided by Qualitel Formation, a Qualiopi-certified organization. They are eligible for funding by skills operators (OPCOs). This page explains the process, the OPCOs involved, and the steps to obtain funding.

Why OPCO funding?

Skills operators (OPCOs) are state-approved bodies that finance all or part of employees' professional training. Each company contributes to an OPCO based on its industry sector.

Qualiopi- certified training organization . This is the case for Biodiversity Partner training courses: they are delivered by Qualitel Formation , a Qualiopi-certified training provider.

In summary

1 IRICE designs the reference materials and educational content for Biodiversity Partner training courses.
2 Qualitel Formation provides training and issues certificates. It is the training organization as defined by regulations.
3 As Qualitel Formation is Qualiopi certified, the training courses are eligible for OPCO funding.

Which OPCOs can finance these training courses?

Any OPCO (Skills Operator) can finance Qualiopi training. The OPCOs most frequently involved in the construction, real estate, and environmental sectors are:

Constructys

Construction, public works, building and public works. Leading OPCO in the construction sector.

OPCO EP

Local businesses. Covers in particular real estate, liberal professions and design offices.

AKTO

Labor-intensive services. Includes certain consulting and engineering occupations.

Atlas

OPCO 2i

Industry. Concerns industrial companies committed to the environmental transition.

OPCO Mobilités

Don't know which OPCO your company is affiliated with? Your employer or HR department can tell you which OPCO your company depends on. You can also consult the Ministry of Labour website or contact Qualitel Formation for guidance.

Eligible training programs

Biodiversity Partner training courses are organized into two independent tracks, both based on a common core curriculum. All are eligible for OPCO funding.

Common core curriculum — mandatory

BP-N1

Biodiversity awareness and real estate

Entry into the Biodiversity Partner network. Regulatory framework, ESG, IRICE methodology. Prerequisites: none.

Effinature Way

Accredited biodiversity certification

N2

NCO / EVO

New construction + renovation

N3

HOR

Development (ZAC, housing estates, public spaces)

N4

HVE

High Ecological Value — monitored over time

BPS route

Biodiversity Performance Score

BP-BPS

Biodiversity assessment

Qualification to work on the BPS (initial state, design, or both)

Prerequisite: BP-N1 validated. The BPS pathway is independent of the Effinature pathway — levels N2, N3, N4 are not required.

A professional can pursue both paths. Both paths are eligible for OPCO funding independently.

How to obtain OPCO funding?

1

Pre-registration

Fill out the pre-registration form on the IRICE website, indicating the desired level and the OPCO funding method.

2

Verification of prerequisites

IRICE checks your eligibility (diploma, experience, validated previous levels) then forwards your file to Qualitel Formation.

3

OPCO application

Your employer (or yourself if self-employed) submits a request for funding to your OPCO, with the quote and program provided by Qualitel Formation.

4

Training and billing

Qualitel Formation provides the training, issues the invoice and certificate. The OPCO pays Qualitel Formation directly according to the level of funding granted.

Outstanding balance

The level of funding depends on your OPCO (Skills Operator), the size of your company, and your industry sector. Some OPCOs cover 100% of the training costs, while others apply an hourly cap. Contact your OPCO to find out the exact amount of funding available before registering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the training organization?
Qualitel Formation is a Qualiopi-certified training provider. IRICE designs the content and verifies prerequisites, but Qualitel Formation delivers the training, issues certificates, and invoices.
Can I get funding if I am self-employed?
Yes. Self-employed workers contribute to a training fund (FAF) or a skills development fund (OPCO) depending on their status. Contact your FAF or OPCO to find out about your entitlements. You can also use your Personal Training Account (CPF) if the training is listed there.
Do we need to follow all the levels?
The BP-N1 foundation is mandatory for all tracks. Then, you choose the Effinature track (N2 → N3 → N4) or the BPS track (BP-BPS), or both. Each level can be the subject of a separate OPCO application.
