BREEAM & BRE Global Partnership

IRICE is an authorized certification body for BREEAM New Construction assessments, in collaboration with the Building Research Establishment (BRE), responsible for the international BREEAM standard.

Scope of the partnership

  • BREEAM assessment for new construction projects only
  • 9 areas : management, health/well-being, energy, transport, water, materials, waste, ecology, pollution
  • Certification issued by BRE Global , a globally recognized standard
  • Complementary to Effinature® for a holistic approach to sustainability

Note: BREEAM is covered by ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation. IRICE acts as the accredited body for the assessment, while BRE issues the certification according to its standard. Effinature, on the other hand, falls under specialized biodiversity accreditation no. 5-0655.
