Applicant's rights
Non-discriminatory access — Any entity whose activity falls within the scope of IRICE accreditation may submit an application for certification (§4.4).
Prior information — The applicant is informed, before contracting, of the evaluation process, the rates, the expected deadlines and the general conditions of certification.
Confidentiality — The information provided in connection with the application is treated confidentially (§4.5).
Right of appeal — In the event of refusal, suspension or withdrawal of certification, the applicant or client may exercise their right of appeal under the conditions defined by the complaints and appeals procedure .
Notification of changes — IRICE informs its clients of any changes affecting the certification process, standards or certification conditions, within a reasonable timeframe to allow for adaptation.
Obligations of the applicant and the client
Ongoing compliance — The client commits to continuously meeting certification requirements, including those resulting from changes in standards.
Cooperation — The client facilitates access to the sites, documents and people necessary for follow-up assessments, controls and audits.
Accurate Information — The applicant agrees to provide accurate and complete information. Any inaccurate information may result in the refusal, suspension, or withdrawal of certification.
Financial obligations — The client agrees to pay the certification fees in accordance with the terms agreed in the contract.
Reporting of changes — The client shall inform IRICE without delay of any significant change affecting the certified product, its production or implementation conditions.
Use of the trademark and certificate
Permitted uses
The certified client is authorized to use the certificate and the Effinature® (or BPS®, depending on the program) trademark in their commercial communication, subject to compliance with the following conditions:
Prohibited uses
Reference to Cofrac accreditation
Certified clients may not directly reference IRICE's Cofrac accreditation in their own communications. Only IRICE is authorized to use the accreditation designation under the conditions defined by Cofrac.
The client can, however, indicate that their certification was issued by IRICE, an accredited body, by referring to the IRICE website or to the Cofrac website for verification.
